The first thing buyers will see in your house is the landscaping, so you need to be sure that it draws people in instead of driving them away. Here are some tips to touch up your landscape without stretching your budget.

Start with a general cleanup. Cleaning up your yard can make a big difference in the overall appearance. Take some time to cut the grass and rake up all of the grass trimmings. Rake up any leaves, sticks or other debris so that your yard is neat. Look for any areas where there might be dead grass, brown patches or other issues. Just opt for things that are fairly low maintenance, such as rose bushes in containers, because that will keep weeds at bay while still allowing the plants to flourish.
